Refer to the color of your pocket square or your socks. The pattern does not necessarily have to match the color of your pocket square.

You should avoid sets of bow ties and pocket squares made of the same fabric. Instead, take the basic color of your bow tie and combine the other accessories with another pattern or fabric.

Care and cleaning bow ties

Keep your silk bow ties untied and loosely folded. In this way you will avoid creasing and will enjoy your bow tie much longer. Open the knot after wearing, smooth the silk with your hand and keep the bow ties hanging or loosely folded until the next use.

Bow ties made of silk are easy to clean. You can easily clean them by hand in lukewarm water with detergent. For more severe stains, soak your bow ties in the water for a few minutes before rinsing them. Then you can hang them up to dry slowly.
