Combine pocket squares with other accessories

Pocket squares are available in many different patterns and colors. One of the most frequently asked questions is how to combine them correctly with other accessories. Usually the color of the socks, bow tie or tie is picked up. The pattern is not so important.

Don't use sets of bow ties and handkerchiefs made of the same fabric. Instead, combine a pocket square which only picks up the basic color, but with a different pattern or fabric.

Care and cleaning of pocket squares

Silk can wrinkle easily by folding and wearing. In order to enjoy your new pocket square for a long time you should smooth it out by hand after wearing it and keep it loosely folded. Pochettes made of silk are easy to clean. You can simply clean it by hand in lukewarm water with a little detergent. For heavier dirt, let the pochette soak in lukewarm water for a few minutes before rinsing the stain under running water. Then hang the cloth up to dry. Avoid direct sunlight.
