Safety Instructions for Shavettes
Shavettes are not intended for use by individuals with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or those lacking experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by someone responsible for their safety regarding the use of the shavette and its accessories.
Potential Hazards
Using a shavette involves certain risks. The use of the shavette requires a particularly high level of caution and concentration. Use the shavette only for its intended purpose – shaving the face and neck area.
Use the shavette only after acquiring extensive knowledge of how to handle shavettes. To avoid bacterial infections, always use clean blades. To achieve optimal results, the blade should be changed regularly.
WARNING
Risk of cuts!
Severe injuries and heavy bleeding!
- Never touch the sharp edges of the blade!
- Grip the razor blade only by the flat, blunt sides with your thumb and index finger.
- Check the razor blade for damage or deformation before each use.
- Avoid lateral movements and shaving the same skin area too frequently.
- Do not apply excessive pressure with the blade to the skin.
- Never attempt to disassemble or repair the shavette.

Storage
Ensure that shavettes and blades are stored in a safe, dry place – out of the reach of children and pets.
Safe Transport
Always transport the shavette and its blades securely packaged (e.g., in a case or box, etc.). Always fold the shavette for transport. Loose transport in a bag or toiletry kit can lead to serious accidents and injuries.
Initial Setup
After unpacking, please check the shavette for damage. Do not use the shavette if it is damaged or if you are unsure about its condition.
Usage Instructions
Use the shavette only after acquiring sufficient knowledge of how to handle shavettes. Ensure your skin is clean. Moisten the beard area, preferably with warm water, and thoroughly lather the beard with shaving soap. Make sure the beard hair is well softened. Properly softening the beard hair reduces the risk of injury and is gentler on the skin.
If you have any doubts about the proper functioning or condition of the shavette, do not use it.
Place the blade at a sharp angle (about 30 degrees) to the skin. Start with the cheeks and gently glide the blade over the skin with light pressure.
Always shave in the direction of hair growth (with the grain) in short strokes. Tighten the skin in the area to be shaved with your free hand. Avoid shaving over areas with blemishes, irregularities, or pimples. Also, do not use the shavette on sensitive or delicate skin or if you are prone to allergies.
Never shave on dry skin!
If the skin reacts with irritation, stop shaving immediately.
Cleaning
Be sure not to touch the sharp side of the blade – there is a high risk of injury!
Regular cleaning ensures long-lasting durability and the best possible shave. Rinse the shavette under running water after each shave or use a mild cleaning agent.
Never use gasoline, thinners, acids, or vinegar to clean the shavette! These can cause malfunctions, cracks, discoloration, and other material changes. Gently dry excess water with a towel and allow the shavette to air dry.
Maintenance
Never alter, disassemble, or repair the shavette yourself. This can lead to serious injuries or destruction of the shavette!
Contact the retailer or manufacturer if repairs are needed.
Disposal
If recycling is possible, please dispose of the various packaging materials (paper, metal, etc.) according to local recycling regulations. For used shavettes, remove the blades and dispose of them in a blade container or securely wrapped. Throwing away a blade without a protective cover can cause serious injuries.

Each consumer review is checked for authenticity before it is published, so that it is ensured that reviews only come from consumers who have actually purchased/used the reviewed products, or in the case of general store reviews, that the consumers have previously ordered from us. The verification is done by manual check in the form of a comparison of the rating with the order history of the ERP system to make a previous product purchase a necessary condition for publication.
